Educational Research Information Center (ERIC) Thesaurus
The ERIC thesaurus is a controlled vocabulary list of carefully selected education-related words and phrases that are assigned to ERIC records to organise them by subject and make them easier to retrieve through a search. This website provides online searching of the thesaurus by the use of keywords or phrases or by browsing the content alphabetically or by subject category.

European Training Thesaurus (ETT)
Produced by the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) the ETT constitutes the controlled vocabulary of reference for vocational education and training (VET) in Europe. Information and news from CEDEFOP's online database on vocational training (VET-Bib), the Training Institutions database and ERO [European Research Overview] can be retrieved with use of the thesaurus. Content of the thesaurus may be browsed alphabetically and downloaded in several formats.

Jargon Buster
This glossary produced by the Learning and Skills Council in the UK, provides definitions of terms relating to learning and skill development in the United Kingdom. Terms may be browsed alphabetically. Related terms and links are also provided.

The Jargon Buster
This commercial publication published by the National Institute of Adult and Continuing Education (NIACE) in 2005, covers common terms relating to adult learning in the United Kingdom. It includes acronyms where applicable, their definitions and suggested linked terms for reference.

Terminology of European education and training policy
This multilingual glossary defines a selection of 100 terms used in the field of education and training policy in Europe. Produced by the European Training Foundation (ETF), European Commission and Eurydice, the glossary is available to search online or download in PDF.

VET Glossary
Produced by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), this glossary covers Australian vocational education and training (VET) terms and acronyms and VET organisations in Australia. Also includes some key international terms, organisations and acronyms. Terms may be searched by keyword, browsed alphabetically and by category. It is also available for download in PDF or Word formats.

VOCED Thesaurus
This thesaurus contains over 3,000 terms related to vocational education and training (VET), especially in the areas of research and policy. These terms are used in searching the VOCED research database. Terms within the thesaurus may be searched or browsed alphabetically and it is available for download as XML, PDF and TXT files.  It is based on the original APSDEP Thesaurus produced by the International Labour Organization's Asian and Pacific Skills Development Programme (ILO/APSDEP).
